Quality of life of down syndrome children with gastrointestinal disorders using pediatric quality of life inventoryTM (PedsqlTM) assessment

GI disorders affect the quality of children. Children with Down syndrome have a high prevalence disorders. This study aims to determine life children is cross-sectional using PedsQL Symptoms Scale questionnaire & ROME IV Diagnostic Questionnaire for Pediatric Functional Gastrointestinal Disorder Adolescents. Samples were collected in January-May 2022. The analysis was performed IBM SPSS Statistics 25. samples include 101 aged 2-18 years. Nonstructural consist those GERD (8.9%), diarrhea (1%), constipation 3%, and 18.8%. Structural duodenal atresia, Hirschsprung's disease, stenosis annular pancreas, anal atresia (1%, 3%,1%, 4%, respectively). without had good life, while 51.5% nonstructural poor life. impaired on sub-symptom scale food drink limits, swallowing trouble, heartburn reflux, gas bloating, constipation, blood bowel movements.
